Q: HOW MUCH DO CUSTOM INVITATIONS COST?
A: Because we are creating custom pieces, and there are no two alike, there is not a set price. There are many variables to take into account when quoting your stationery; quantity, size, shape of the piece, special effects like being transparent, etc. See pricing below.
Q: I'M ON A BUDGET. CAN YOU STILL CREATE AND WORK WITH ME?
A: Yes, of course. Just let us know what your budget is and we can direct you in the direction that will accommodate your needs.
Q: WILL I SEE A PROOF?
A: Proof will be digitally sent via email. You will receive anywhere from 1-3 proofs to review and provide feedback to us on what you like, do not like and what you want changed. We stress PROOF and then PROOF again the next day, to be sure everything is perfect for printing. The proof that is approved is exactly what will be printed.
Q: HOW LONG DOES THE CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?
A: On average we find it takes around 3 weeks from Initial Consultation until Proof Approval to settle on the perfect design, especially if you want to involve others in the final design approval. However, if you have a specific deadline or need this rushed, please communicate this in the Initial Consultation so we ensure we hit your deadline.
Q: UPON PROOF APPROVAL, HOW LONG WILL IT BE UNTIL THEY ARRIVE AT MY DOOR?
A: Once proofs are approved, please allow 5-7 days for us to print and confirm perfection. It can take up to one week for shipping, all orders are shipped from our office here in Minnesota.If you need them sooner, we can rush ship or even overnight them (additional cost applies).
Q: DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER?
A: We can create 1-10,000+, there is no minimum to your stationery needs.
Q: DO YOU PROVIDE WORDING FOR MY STATIONERY?
A: Of course we can make suggestions on wording, but we love to infuse your own words if you have something already written up yourself. Typically, you will need a Host Line, Names, Invitation Line, Information, and a Party Line-but we can go outside the box too!
Q: DO YOU PROVIDE ENVELOPES?
A: We specialize in plastic so we don’t warehouse envelopes. We can assist you with color matching and size needs for your envelopes.
Q: BEING THAT THEY ARE PLASTIC, WILL MY STATIONERY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL POSTAGE?
A: Generally all of the stationery we design is regular postage. LLL's Tip: Take your final stationery to the post office to mail out before purchasing your postage to ensure postage is correct.
Q: DO YOU DESIGN FOR OTHER OCCASIONS BESIDES WEDDINGS?
Yes! We do holiday cards, birthday invitations, baby invitations, announcements and shower invites, bar and bat mitzvah invitations, graduation invitations and much more! Wedding Stationery Mailing Timeline
Save the Dates
We recommend that you mail out your Save the Dates 4-6 months before the wedding. Mailing them as far in advance of 9-12 months is common, especially when you are planning a destination wedding, a weekday wedding or a holiday wedding.
We recommend that you mail out your Invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding. LLL's Tip: mail on a Saturday so your guests will likely receive them earlier in the week. Some will mail them out as early as 12 weeks prior. Mailing your invitations just 4 weeks before the wedding is doable if your guest list is small, just family, or mostly local.
Thank You Note's
We recommend that you mail out your Thank You Notes within 2 weeks of receiving your wedding gifts or after your wedding day. It is common to receive gifts as early as you finish your registry up to a year after your wedding.
